It's my friend's party. Guests are of different ages and they cannot help themselves but as of me why am I single? That is the most common question I have been asked lately. I just turned twenty eight last month of May and everyone is curious about why am I still single. I just cannot tell them I do not want to settle for less. During our college days, my girl friends and I will talk about our relationships. One of us was so into man hunting over internet dating. She even told us to try it because we all have nothing to lose and only a man to gain. The same friend of mine has a boyfriend already who she refers to as her reservation. Since I was the same single I am now, I got hooked with chatting and going into social sites has become my pastime. Until one day when a spam mail appeared to my inbox which says "Try this, absolutely free! London dating for all the singles out there!". So without hesitation and out of curiosity, I opened the mail and read about success love stories through London dating. But when I clicked the URL fo such, it appears the site doesn't come for free and we have to sign up for ten dollars. I talked to my friends about it in haste and my addicted girl friend said she has tried that London dating once and signed up for the site but nothing happened. She said that site is only doing it so it can have lost of members paying for the initial membership payment. To my dismay, and as much as I would like to sign up for London dating, I fought the urge myself. Sure I want a boyfriend and I believe one cannot just sit around and wait for the person they want to spend his or her life with. Sometimes one has to make a move, or moves to finally find that person. And I guess I am one of those who search and not just sit around. Now as I seat here watching my girl friend dance with her boyfriend gentry caressing her back, I could not help but ask myself the same question. Why am I single? Well, I think I am not the only one who has that question to his or her self. But I won't stop searching of one is never too old to fall in love. One is never too young to fall in love. One is never rich or poor to fall in love. There are no rules when it comes to love. It happens naturally.
