An Adults Tale

Adult dating is very normal. Everywhere, there are people whom venture into this because they are at a time in their lives when trying to settle down seems like an easy path and trying to find a partner or a suitor. For the mindset of a lady, what she needs is a good husband, and for a guy, what he needs is a good wife. It is not always easy when it comes to adult dating experiences, and lots of people don't really kiss and tell. But there are those that do and it can be good, bad or simply exaggerated. Especially when relating stories to friends.

I do have friends whom I consider to be people that love to share experiences. But sometimes, they share too much that I am rather uncomfortable with listening. A great looking guy or lady can definitely be considered an idol, but it's the contents that matter, really. Contents equating to personality of that person, how he or she looks at the perspective in life and what are their romantic beliefs and others in general. I have never been a master in adult dating, but I do try to inculcate the idea that practice makes perfect. I listen to those stories that my friends related, though sometimes unwittingly, and I've gotten lots of experiences from there too.

They have given me lots of great insights onto what a worst dating or an awesome one might be. There was this one time when my friend was talking about this guy she was dating and she was being very candid about everything. It's really their problem whether they want to do "stuffs" or not, not up to me, but if you ask me, I'd prefer for both men and women to avoid sex before marriage. That's more better and safer in the long run. But she went on very candidly talking about her adult dating scenario and including those candid moments! It caught me off guard totally and I was at a loss of speech. I really didn't know what to say and how to react so I just smiled and listened on. Thinking that she got the hint. But she did not, and she went on and on about her escapade.

So, please, if you have friends whom are of a different mix of conservative and open-minded bunch, choose your stories carefully. Don't just tell everything at one shot and at the same time, with just 1 swift motion, relating everything from top to bottom. I didn't see my friend in a different light since, but I must say I didn't enjoy her stories that much anymore.
