I found my first love through an online dating service. Who would have thought that I can find the one for me in a dating service, but it seems that my luck in love lies in these types of sites.

I never really thought that anything can come out of it. When I started using the dating service, I really wasn't looking for a long term relationship, I just wanted to have omeone to hang out with and have fun with.

So when I first met my date, I didn't think that anything serious can be harvested from such an endeavor, I always thought that people who use the dating service was only looking to have fun, a one night stand even but I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed spending time with my date and the first date didn't even end up in bed and that was a first for me, a date that didn't want to jump in the sack right away.

It seemed that we enjoyed each other well enough to have a second date, then a third and another one. After a little while, I realized that it was actually getting serious and that it wasn't just a game anymore. I was falling for this guy and it seems like he feels the same way, well I hope he does. With this realization came the next realization that using a dating service do work and it works well. It worked for me.

Although both of us realized that what we have is special, we also realized that this is not always the case for people who worked with dating services but I guess my story gives the others the hope that this can actually work, that making use of a professional service to find dates or even the loves of our lives is not a taboo move, that there are times when it does work and we shouldn't loose hope.

But a word of advice, if you please, for those who are interested in using a dating service, first and foremost do not expect that your first date will be that person you can actually be with for the rest of your life, if you expect to find your ideal mate in the first try then you're our for disappointment. Do not expect your perfect idol to come out of the woodwork especially in your first try. If you do then you might actually find yourself disappointed and may not wish to use the service again. Everything works out just like a regular date. You might want to chat a little bit, maybe talk on the phone so that you can get to know the guy first. Remember that using the service is just like a friend introducing you to someone, they think will suit you best, you might not click with that person right away, your first touch might not be as magical as you dreamed but if you work on it and then maybe you'll just find luck, as I did, and find that one person you'll be able to spend the rest of your life with.
