An Adults Tale

Well I am home for the weekend, and of course I am on the computer. My first semester at college was really boring and all you could hear all over campus was about those free dating sites. That was the cool thing at my college and after class each day a bunch of my roommates would rush to get on their laptops and see if they go any replies.

I guess I am not sold on those free dating sites, because the few I have tried when you get down to the very bottom it will ask you for your credit card number. Well my opinion is if it is free, then why asks for your credit card number. Then you read on and it says free for the first month, or free for the first two weeks, so in the long run it is not free. Well, so much for those free dating sites, wouldn’t you say?

I might add I do have a boyfriend already, but it is fun to go into these free dating sites just to browse around. By the way, my boyfriend does not go to college at the same one I do, but we plan on coming home the same weekends just so we will not be bored while we are home. I call my boyfriend my true love, being we have been dating for over 2 years now, but we both wanted to go to college, before we settled down to each other.

Every time we would talk or see each other, we would tell each other what we have been doing since the last time we talked. I decided to tell him about me looking at some free dating sites and the funny thing was he was doing the same thing. What was funny also, we found it very silly to even be doing it, but at least it gave us something to do for a couple of hours.

Well I guess we have better decide what we are going to do this weekend, maybe go out for a snack or a movie, or just sit home and embrace each other and watch a movie. Being I have been stuck in class most of the time, I would like to go out to a movie and get a snack afterwards. It is always good when we can spend some quiet time today and be alone, instead of with people all the time.
