An Adults Tale

Adult dating in the newmillenniumis a lot different from that it was back in the fun 80's. Yes, I am and 80's girl that was married for over 16 years and now that I am divorced and suddenly findmyselfback in the dating world I amshockedat how different that world has become. Back when I was dating it seemed simpler somehow and a whole lot less technical, now it seems that adult dating sites are all the rage and for those of us who don't even know how to use a computer it's quite complicated.

My daughter who is 15 tells me that I have to get with the program and join some of these adult dating sites. She has a lap top that she got for Christmas last year and she has volunteered to help me get started on it. I think it's sweet that she wants to help; she has been so good throughout this whole separation with my ex husband and now to want to help me find a boyfriend shows me that she is a lot stronger and smarter than I sometimes give her credit for. I think she realized even before I did that it was time for me to go on with my life, it was not doing me any good to sit at home and be sad just thinking about why my marriage ended.

So I guess I will have to take her up on it and tonight we can choose an adult dating site together. I will learn this new method of dating and hopefully I can meet someone. I don't plan on rushing anything especially since I have my daughter to think about and this time I am not going to settle for just anyone either. I want a man that is passionate about life and that has a plan for the future. After all soon I will be 43 and it's time to have a plan and not just run by the seat of my pants. I also want that man to be passionate about me and not feel the need to have a twenty year old at his side like my ex did. If I find this man on this site then I will be very lucky and happy and then I will know that my daughter and I can bring him into our lives and have him share it with us.
